      <image:title>artwork - ethereal, 2017</image:title>
<image:caption>24x36, acrylic on canvas The work was inspired by layers of paint and plaster on the walls of an old building in Puerto Rico but when I stepped back to look at the colors it had this dreamlike feeling to me. Almost a floating feeling or of a sunset over the ocean. This piece is part of a private collection.</image:caption>

      <image:title>artwork - untitled</image:title>
<image:caption>This piece was inspired by the wood that was used in the piece. When removing an old tree from my property I noticed that there was a darker ring inside the cut that I wanted to highlight. That ring initially was a deep plum/purple color but over time faded to the darker ring you see in the photos. This piece, unbeknownst to me, would become somewhat of a turning point in my art career because as time went on I started producing paintings that were also circular in nature and inspired by nature. The piece measures approximately 15.5” x 27”, materials: wood/branches from Japanese plum tree, NFS</image:caption>

      <image:title>artwork - cancer ribbon, 2020</image:title>
<image:caption>20x20, acrylic on canvas The idea for this painting originated with a fundraiser; I was asked to donate a painting to a fundraiser for a local cancer support organization, and decided to create an original work instead of donating something I had laying around. I have created one every year since 2016, and continue to donate them for fundraising efforts. The colors used are inspired by the various colors of cancer awareness ribbons. In 2018, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and the series grew to include work that I created through the process of diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. This is the sixth iteration of this painting and I look forward to adding to the collection for as along as possible.</image:caption>

      <image:title>artwork - Aurora, 2020</image:title>
<image:caption>20x20, acrylic on canvas This piece is part of a series inspired by photos of the aurora borealis. I’ve always been inspired by nature, looking up at the sky either during the day or at night has always filled me with a sense of calm and I hoped to portray that in this series.</image:caption>
